Trainee Fibre Splicers

Reporting to the Fibre Manager. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the telecommunications industry.

Working on the Virgin Media / BT networks, with an Installation or service background would be preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Installation and testing of all fibre cabling works.
  • Complete and submit all necessary documentation.
  • Deal with day to day issues and problem solving regarding jointing and testing activities.
  • Comply with Health & Safety and environmental policies.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Able to meet strict quality standards.
  • Results orientated.
  • Awareness of Customer Satisfaction for both internal and external sources.
  • Self-Motivated.
  • Good communication skills

JOB KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Experience working within the telecommunications industry.
  • Good working Knowledge of work management systems and windows packages (word & Excel).
  • Full UK driving licence.

Cabling & Activations engineer

Reporting to the Delivery Manager The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the telecommunications industry.

Working on the BT networks / Virgin Media. With a Cabling, Installation or service background.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Network Cabling experience. (Trunk routes).
  • Fibre Cabling. 288f, 144f, 96f, etc.
  • Copper cabling, termination & testing.
  • Coax cabling, termination & testing.
  • Complete and submit all necessary documentation.
  • Deal with day to day issues and problem solving regarding Cabling.
  • Comply with Health & Safety and environmental policies.
